Purpose of the register
The register is only used for the company's own necessary operational purposes, such as maintaining customer relations and keeping in touch and handling online store orders. Personal information is processed within the limits allowed and required by the Personal Data Act. As a rule, the data is processed as long as the customership is valid. After the end of the customer relationship, the storage period depends on the information and its intended use. Information can be deleted at the person's request or due to the end of the customer relationship.
Personal information to be stored in the register
The register collects personal data about, for example, the connection of an online store order, filling out forms and using the site. The register can contain, for example, the following information: name, address, phone number, email address, location, IP address, payment information, marketing message permissions, product reviews, site browsing and usage data, purchase history, marketing cookies.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files sent from a website that your browser can store on the hard drive of your computer or other device. The information stored in it can be returned to our servers or to the servers of relevant third parties on the next visit. Technically necessary and functional cookies are required. They ensure that certain parts of the website work correctly and that the user settings are kept. By setting up functional cookies, we make it easier to visit our website. This way you don't have to enter the same information again when visiting our website, for example. Marketing and tracking cookies are optional, the user can either accept or decline them. We notify you about cookies with a pop-up window when you arrive on our website. You can change these voluntary cookie settings at any time on our website.
Data sources of the register and data disclosure
As a rule, the source of information are website users themselves. The registered person's information can also be collected and updated from the trade register and other similar public and private registers. The personal data collected in the register will not be disclosed to outside parties, except when required by Finnish authorities. Analytics information such as IP address and marketing cookies can be shared with third parties separately from other personal information.
Register protection
All traffic on the site goes through encrypted connections, which guarantees secure processing of personal information. The register is stored and protected in such a way that unauthorized parties cannot access the register information. The electronic register meets the requirements of the EU data protection regulation in terms of data security. Only the registry keeper has access to the information.
Right of inspection, prohibition and correction
The registered person has the right to inspect, correct, and delete their information in the register. The registered person must submit a request to the registry keeper for using the above-mentioned right. The registry keeper may ask the registrant to specify their request in writing and to verify the registrant's identity before processing the request.
